Rubber joints

Rubber joints

E-FLEX rubber joints are elastic joints (expansion joints) that serve to transport various fluids under pressure and at different temperatures. The elastic parts are formed from a rubber compound (different synthetic elastomers), vulcanised and reinforced by multiple layers of textile fibres and steel wires that have high elastic, mechanical and chemical properties and don't require gaskets when installed.

Advantages of use:

  • Reduce strains from thermal shock by axial, lateral and angular motions.
  • Dampen mechanical vibrations.
  • Block secondary noise from the pumping of fluids in pipes and have a high acoustic dampening capacity.
  • Minimal axial dimensions and low weight.
  • Require low deformation forces.
  • High fatigue and corrosion resistance.
  • Do not require gaskets for installation.
